Skanska opts for downtown digs at Capitol Tower
Skanska will relocate this spring from a building it developed at 3009 Post Oak Blvd. to Capitol Tower, its 35-story building going up in downtown. The 12,481-square-foot lease, on the 12th floor, brings the office portion of Capitol Tower to 83 percent leased. Other office tenants so far are Bank of America, Waste Management, Quantum Energy Partners and international law firm Winston and Strawn.
Downtown’s 1100 Louisiana tower has attracted two new tenants, Colvill Office Properties said. Paloma Resources has leased 4,200 square feet, while Proman Global Development has leased 3,500 square feet. Chip Colvill and Paula Bruns of Colvill Office Properties represented the landlord, Fantome Tower. Bob Parsley of Colliers International represented Paloma. Bill Boyer of CBRE represented Proman.
Murex Petroleum Corp. has leased 20,423 square feet at the 363 North Belt building, at 363 N. Sam Houston Parkway East, in Greenspoint. Terri Torregrossa and Kurt Kistler of Moody Rambin represented the building owner, TA Realty Associates in the deal and two others. Ryan Fassett and Josh Marcell of Moody Rambin represented Murex. Premier Directional Drilling, represented by Ryan Fassett and Josh Marcell of Moody Rambin, has leased 9,023 square feet. North Houston Advisory, represented by Randy Wilhelm and Liz Wescott-Brown of NAI Partners, has leased 5,498 square feet.
Schiffer Hicks Johnson has leased 10,875 square feet at Bank of America Center, 700 Louisiana. Jon Lee with CBRE represented the tenant. John Spafford of PMRG represented the landlord, M-M Properties.
Austin-based GVA Real Estate Group has purchased Winding Trails, a 438-unit, garden-style apartment complex at 10330 Wilcrest. Joey Rippel, Chris Young and Bailey Crowell of HFF represented the seller, One Real Estate Investment. Robert Wooten and Michael Johnson of HFF arranged acquisition financing through Ready Capital Structured Finance.
LifeEnergy has leased 7,430 square feet at 2000 West Loop South. Bob Cromwell, Kevin Nolan and Spencer Starkey of Moody Rambin represented the landlord, Shorenstein Properties. Steve Burkett and Lesa Nickelson French of JLL represented the tenant.
Houston-based Adkisson Group has acquired nearly 225 acres along the Grand Parkway, just south of Interstate 10 East in the Baytown area from Parkside Capital for the development of Bay 10 Business Park. Adkisson Group will offer sites for sale or build to suit projects and will begin construction on several 10,000- to 30,000-square-foot buildings. The park is already home to S.A.F.E. Chemicals, Zachary Corp. and National Tube Supply. Robert McGee, Thomas Leger, Chase Cribbs and Josh Cheatham of Lee & Associates represented the buyer and will market the project. HFF's Davis Adams, Rusty Tamlyn, and Trent Agnew represented the seller.
PDFE Vinyl has purchased a 46,250-square-foot property at 1414 Sakowitz. Robert McGee and Chase Cribbs of Lee & Associates represented the seller, SSR Holdings. Brandon Wuntch of Lee & Associates represented the buyer.
